Elisabeth Kubler-Ross model specifies different stages during a transition. This model is widely levereged on to guide individuals through life transitions.

Let's first clarify what coaching is not. Coaching is not giving the client all the answers they seek.
Coaching fulfills three key funcitons:
Ask questions. Not just any questions, but questions which will invite client to gain insights and see more perspectives.
Reflect back without judgment. Be a mirror, so client can better understand her thoughts, feelings and actions through the coach.
Hold client accountable. The client’s goal is to achieve her desired outcome, the coach’s goal is to support client in any and every way to be successful.
Coaching vs Consulting: Consulting provides client answers and solutions, Coaching challenges client to redefine purpose and challenges.
Coaching vs Therapy: Therapy focus on the past and help client move from dysfunctional to functional. Coaching focus on the future and help client move from suboptimal to optimal.
Coaching vs Mentoring: Mentoring refers to sharing personal experiences, and opinion under certain circumstances. Coaching empowers client to utilize their own thoughts and wisdom.
While coaching is one of the invaluable options to broaden your perspective, there has been a number of shortcomings within the coaching industry:
Coaching industry is not regulated, some coaches do not go through sufficient training and practice. As the entry barrier for coaching is low, it does take some client effort to find a good coach.
There has been reports of certain organizations (Coaching Pyramid) trying to take advantage of clients in need of support.
There has also been reports of coaches (Quantum coaches) who talk about pseudoscience and make clients feel good but have not shown any impact on clients.

As life-long learner, I am a certified professional coach. I attended the Institute for Professional Excellence (iPEC) in coaching, one of the premier coaching training programs in the world and an international coaching federation
accredited institution. I hold an MBA degree from IMD business school, and a double degree bachelor (BSc in Chemical Engineering & BA in Economics) from Zhejiang University.
Step1 - You enroll in the program by contacting us.
Step2 - We discuss and agree on a common goal.
Step3 - Your progress is reviewed every 3 coaching sessions.
We recommend you to complete the program within 21 days. However you can set your own pace.
Each coaching session takes 50-60mins.
On gratitude basis. We want you to contribute based on the level of value you gain from your experience.
We can both agree that if you dont see any value in your experience, we wouldnt need to go further.

About Me
Welcome to Exscender. I am Flora!
"In the midst of every crisis, lies great opportunity" -- Albert Einstein.
I support young talents, emerging leaders and entrepreneurs when they are going through critical life transitions, and help to turn these transitions into transformations.
Born and raised in China, I am deeply influenced by traditional Chinese wisdom. After graduation with my bachelor's degree, I faced my first major life transition. To continue studies to get a PhD or to start working for a multinational company.
Since then, I have worked and lived in 11 cities, 6 countries, and 3 continents. My second major life transition was when I decided to change my career path. I quit my job and enrolled in an MBA program.
I transformed from a field engineer to an emerging business leader. Now I am going through my third major life transition which I expect to be challenging, rewarding and fun as before!
